What is Easy File Share (EFS)?
Its a very powerful and easy to use script, that is a great way to share your files with others. It lets all users upload their files and share them immediately with others. You are able to control all the files that are uploaded, and able to contact each uploader via email. You can also change the way the site looks and feels. There are a some cool options in the control panel. Example: you can set a count down for each download to begin, and you can even set how long before the file expires due to no downloads. How Does EFS Work?
When a person uploads a file, they will need to put their email adress, the file they would like to upload, and email addresses of other people to whom the download link should be sent. You will also be able to manage your files in a quick and easy way. Each person that uploads a file, will show up on your File Manager. Here you can control what files are allowed on your site. The files will show up in the File Manager, arranged newest to oldest, to help you easily see what's been uploaded, and decide if it shouldn't be allowed. File Manager will also show the IP of each upload. This will help if an inappropriate file is uploaded - you can ban the user (IP) from viewing, or uploading to your site again. File Manager also shows the email address of the user that uploaded each file. This will help you contact the uploaders of the files. The Site Configuration lets you do many things, including allowing you to change the web site name to whatever you would like. It Also allows you to change the URL and the Domain of your site. Site configuration lets you Set the File storage path to where you want the uploaded files stored. You can also change what file types are allowed and not allowed to be uploaded to your site. Site Configuration allows you to change the max file size so users do not upload more then the max file quota. You will be able to change whether the users require a file activaton for each file that is uploaded or not. AutoMsg Email allows you to have an email sent to your email adress for each file that is uploaded. You can set a count down for each file before it is able to be downloaded, to help keep the server load lower and for various other reasons. In On Site Configurations you can set the number of days to when each file expires after there have been no downloads. This allows you to keep the quota on the web server lower and to keep your server clean and fresh. After you have finished your Site Configuration changes, you click Save Changes at the bottom, and your set!

Try It Out
You can test the file share script. Click the link above that says "Test File Share" and upload a random or test file, then activate your email if needed. After that navigate to your file, and Download! After that's complete, go to the Administration Control Panel and go to Manage Files, find the file you uploaded click :: Delete :: and your set! If you would like to change the way users upload, just take a look at the Site configuration. As you can see, it's a very easy to use script!

Activation Option
This script comes with an activation option, that you can enable or disable.

Enabled: This will require every user that uploads to activate the download before its downloadable.

Disabled: This will allow users to upload and then download the file without having to activate it.

Admin Panel: Manage Files
This image shows The File Name of an uploader. It also tells you the date when the user uploaded that image/file. On the left in a Yellow box, the number 4 represnts what number upload this is. Under IP is the uploaders IP (this one is blurred out for security reasons). Next after the IP, you will see moo@moocow.com, this shows the uploader's email address. You can contact him using this. Past that is a blue link showing, :: DELETE:: with which you can delete this file and remove it from the server.

Admin Panel : Site Configuration
This allows you to: change the web site name, change the domain, change the file storage path, change the file extensions not allowed, change the maximum filesize, change if they require a file activation, change automsg email, change the countdown before download, and change the number of days the files expire after 0 downloads.

Site Name: Lets you change the title of your web page.
URL: The url of your domain eg: http://your-site.com
Domain: Is the domain you installed this script on.
File Storage Path: this is the path to were all the users will upload there files to.
File Extensions not allowed: This is were you deny file types, users wont be able to upload these types.
Maximum Filesize: This is where you put the max file size a user can upload.
Require File ACtivation: Here is where all users either do or do not have to activate there download via email.
AutoMsg Email: This is where you enter your email adress so so all the logs and uploads users have done will be emailed to.
Countdown before they can download: This is the timer before a user may download the file.
File expire after X days of no downloads: Here you can change the max day of a file to expire, if a file doesnt get any downloads after 30days (default) it will be deleted.
